Fall and Winter recap!

Well it's been entirely too long since our last blog… it will be hard to sum up everything in one blog. I will give it my best shot!

     Fall might be my favorite time of year here in Chattanooga! It is absolutely breathtaking! I'm so glad Gray and I got married in October, because it's always such a beautiful time of year to celebrate! We celebrated our 1 year anniversary this past October 26th, 2014. We went to Brevard, North Carolina and stayed at the Oscar Blues Bike Farm! It was awesome. We camped on the farm next to a creek and then spent the day mountain biking in Dupont State Forest. The leaves were absolutely amazing and at their peak!

The fall a season of enjoying Chattanooga and the surrounding areas. We didn't do much traveling other than a few trips to Asheville and some camping trips around here. It was good to lay low around here and start house hunting! We are excited about our new house we are in the process of buying! It should be finished Mid-March, we cannot wait!

A lot of changes have happened with the direction Gray was headed. He decided to stop school and start working at Industrial Farmhouse. It is a start-up custom furniture business that uses mostly reclaimed wood and incorporates metal with most jobs. He loves it and is excelling quickly!

     It has been a cold and long winter! We had a record breaking snow fall last night, February 26th. It snowed 8 inches! We took full advantage of the snow and enjoyed it to the max! We had a snowball fight with 8 of our friends and then it spread to by passers on the streets! Haha! We then made our way to the hills and did some sledding. We had a blast and even got a snow day from work! Gotta love winter in the south.

 Hopefully Spring is around the corner, we are getting the itch for some hiking and camping in the woods!! Stay tuned for updates on our new house and new adventures to be had this spring and summer!
